Nestled into the white cliffs on its own plateau above Weir Bay, and commanding staggering coast views of France, Folkestone Harbour, the Warren nature reserve and the surrounding white cliffs country, this holiday house has arguably one of the most unique situations in the country.

This cliff top house is East, South and West facing from the terraces, where most summer meals will probably be taken, but should the English weather turn, the conservatory with its views of the harbour and Bay (where you just might spot the odd Channel swimmer!) is the place to be. Beyond this, but with the same view, is the heated indoor pool, and for the more energetic running and rowing machines. This area has a walk in shower and separate cloakroom.

From the terrace there is a door into the state of the art fully equipped kitchen, which has a large side-by-side fridge freezer, dishwasher, seven gas ring cooker with double oven, grill and hood, microwave, stainless steel flooring and Corian worktops. This room, with its views of France, Folkestone harbour and the cliffs beyond, is open plan to a large dining room, which has a table for 8 from where the pool can be seen. A utility room with washing machine and tumble drier completes this functional area.

Open plan again is the entrance hall/day room with plenty of reading for those quiet moments! The large comfortable lounge, with remote controlled open gas fire (saving all that tedious log carrying!) is separate and very relaxing with sound system, widescreen TV with Sky.

Whilst it will sleep eight happily, the charm and character of Eagles Nest as a holiday rental is in the feeling of quality and space. With three double bedrooms and three bathrooms we would envisage a perfect coastal holiday location for three couples.

PLEASE NOTE – SMOKING, DOGS & CHILDREN:
The house is non-smoking. We are happy to welcome small, well behaved dogs, but stress that this house is close to the cliff edge. No one should stray beyond the fences or allow their dogs to do so. Because of this, we consider the house to be unsuitable for children under 8 years of age.
Eagles Nest has a small separately accessed annexe not included in holiday rentals.
